Family Cenacles Upcoming Events 2020

Be excited! Be prepared! Be involved!

Take a moment and watch this video on what God has installed for our community in this new year 2020. Let us all all take inspiration on St Teresa of Calcutta’s advices,

‘There is always the danger that we may just do the work for the sake of the work. This is where the respect and the love and the devotion come in – that we do it to God, to Christ, and that’s why we try to do it as beautifully as possible.’
Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.’
Do not just be a cooperator but also be a collaborator!

The Year that was… 2019

Take a look at the year that was 2019 for the Family Cenacle Groups Australia.

Our community has come a long way, from our humble beginning back in the mid 1990’s the Family Cenacle was started by a small group of Filipinos praying together at Penshurst NSW now in 2019, there are 28 family cenacle groups spread across Australia.

Watch the video of the mission works our community had accomplished last year.

Let us give praise and thanks to God as He continue to shower us with His blessings and glorify Him by sharing these blessings and to reach out to Gods people.

Our main goal must not be happiness but Godliness…

Personal Reflections

It’s All About Me

I grew up excelling in academics to cover up some of my insecurities during my younger years.  I’ve got deformed ears, my parents broke up, I was sickly, and I am effeminate, to name a few.

Passing from one step of success to another, I’ve made my family and friends proud of me.  But on the other hand, I was subconsciously nourishing my ego.  I’ve neither bragged nor boasted about my achievements.  However, I’ve developed “internal arrogance”, always reminding my self that “Why should I bother myself with things that don’t concern me?”.

Without proper spiritual guidance, I was nurturing a proud monster within me.  This made me believe that I am a self-made man.  This made me feel like I am the centre of the universe.  This made me think that I am always right and that I am better than the others.  This false sense of self-worth has made me judgmental towards others.  It was literally “all about me” at the expense of others.

When I embarked on my spiritual journey through the cenacle group, I was able to gradually detach myself from self-centredness.  And through Divine Indwelling and walkthrough exercises, I’ve come to accept that all my achievements are part of God’s plan.  None of which were attained solely by my own human knowledge, efforts or abilities.  I’ve realised that all my worldly accomplishments are “borrowed blessings” from God’s grace, so that I may serve His purpose for my life.  Now, it is no longer “all about me” but “all about God who dwells within me”.

Taking inspiration from the priest’s homily last week, the two simple words “IT IS…” could define our reactions to life’s situations.  I could literally deconstruct the phrase “It’s all about me” into “IT IS _________________”, and I would fill-in the blank space with words that would unconsciously and inevitably speak of “all about me”.  So we have the freedom to choose whether to add positive or negative words to complete the phrase.  Saying either “it is GOOD” or “it is BAD”, would really be a reflection of who’s within the deepest centre of our souls.

Lesson 6 - Divine Indwelling

Lesson 6 Divine Indwelling Set 4 Part 2 of 2

Continue reading the second part of Sis Zsa Halili’s meditations on Set 4 of Lesson 6 Divine Indwelling. She shares with us God’s wisdom thats been revealed to her as she continues to journey with the walk throughers through Divine Indwelling.

The meditation guide is intended to be shared in a “Walkthrough” where fellow members can share each other’s reflections and discernments.

We invite you to join us here in divineindwelling.org for our Weekly Online walkthroughs where every week we will show you the reflections of different Mission Aspirants in our community. We hope this inspires you to continue your internal journey with God dwelling inside you.

Most importantly don’t forget to share your reflections in the comments!

**For the intention of this article we will only post the Set Question and the reflections of the Mission Aspirant. If you want to follow along with the complete Set please contact us for further details.

Set 4 Lesson:

It is simply for man to be with God, and God will release whatever is good for man. God may only release to man whatever good God may share only according to the measure that man is united with his God. Hence it is extremely important for man to grow in union with God forever.

There are several reasons why people cannot see the wisdom and knowledge of God. Some of the basic causes are ignorance, concupiscence, sin, distractions of the world, and pride of life.

Since we do not know how to be with God, God promised to give to us His Holy Spirit who will stay within us to teach us all that God wants us to know and to lead us into all the truths.

“The Father will give you another Advocate who will be with you forever…. You know him because he is with you and is in you.” (Jn 24:16-17)

“When the Spirit comes…. He will lead you into all the truths. The Spirit will take what I give him and tell it to you.” (Jn 16:13,15)

If the Divine Indwelling is the key, then every Christian must be taught this and how to use the key. This is the reason for the mission: to tell everyone, especially the Christians, the Good News that they have already what they are looking for: “all the treasures of God’s wisdom and knowledge.”

Set 4

  1. What are we to do with this key?

If the Divine Indwelling is the key, then every Christian must be taught this and how to use the key. This is the reason for the mission: to tell everyone, especially the Christians, the Good News that they have already what they are looking for: “all the treasures of God’s wisdom and knowledge.”

Zsa’s Reflection:

Knowing that God has given the Holy Spirit in all of us reveals the beauty of life and  the meaning of creation, finally I understand why God created the world! A question I’ve been asking since I was 8 years old!

If we can understand the unlimited capacity that we hold by being in Union with God then how much more unlimited can we all be if we are to open up this knowledge to everyone else, how much more wisdom, love and compassion will there be in the world if we can all share in this “mindset”.

Since we know the Holy Spirit is dwelling among all of us baptized then we all hold wisdom and secrets of the kingdom of God… all unique and all different, shaped by the different experiences that we have all gone through… how overwhelming to think of how vast and unlimited this is, how amazing! For there are billions of people.. hence there are so much that we can learn while we are in this life, so many secrets to unfold in this life, through everyone waiting to be unlocked through the Spirit dwelling in their hearts.

Why search for virtual Pokemons on our Phones when God has created the ultimate treasure hunt! The ultimate hunt to find the secrets and wisdom that dwells inside each and every unique Spirit! That is the ultimate mission! Find the treasure hunt dwelling in all mankind and unlocking the Holy Spirit dwelling in all of us!

Bro Joe’s reflection:

That is why all my life, although I know that I have found Him in me, I still follow Him in looking for Him in the hearts of everyone and to see the reflection of what He wants to tell me through the things, places and events that He sets before me. Divine Indwelling is really the key that unfolds all these “treasures” kept hidden through the ages, but now is made available to everyone like a little child believes in the Word of the Lord.

 Sis. Rhona’s reflection:

The only way to achieve world peace, justice, equality and freedom is for all to practice DI.. God has given us the answer and it may seem like a big task ahead of us to let others know about it. But if we all start within ourselves and fully embrace the practice of DI, WT and the mission, it will be God working in each and everyone of us that will make all things possible! Amen! Amen! And Amen!

  1. What are we to do then so that His graces of wisdom, knowledge and all spiritual blessings can flow from within us?

In order to let flow God’s graces of wisdom, knowledge and all spiritual blessings from within us there are two basic things that one need to do: DI and Walk Through.

The exercise of DI (Divine Indwelling) is to keep constant contact with God who is already in us. We only have to be recollected in God’s Presence within us in Contemplation and ask for His wisdom, knowledge and guidance.

The Walk Through is a process to study and share the endless truths of the Lord’s revelation in Scriptures and in the life of Church. All truth is already in us. We simply have to surrender ourselves to God’s instructions how to get into ourselves. This is the purpose of studying and sharing the Word of God in a team or community.

Zsa’s reflection:

When I first started doing DI and joining the walkthrough, I found it hard to relate to people’s sharing. While I found peoples stories inspiring I felt I wasn’t growing spiritually. I knew it was because of my pride that I wasn’t able to move past this because in my mind a lot of things that were being said I felt “I already knew”.

Although, while my mind said “I already know this, I already know that” my heart was saying “yes – and because of this, you don’t really know anything…”, without the risk of sounding crazy it felt like 2 people inside me, one full of pride and the other trying to be humble (but not succeeding). Now I understand it was God speaking to me, humbling me and “keeping me real”… I was unable to see that he was speaking to me at the time because of my pride. How beautifully put, Zha.

So when asked to “share” something I would often pass, I felt that I didn’t deserve to share my thoughts being someone so full of pride.. I recognized my pride and I disliked it but at the same time I was unable to detach from it… instead I prayed for God to grant me humility to be better, to not use my intelligence as a measure of myself and my esteem. I can’t say there was a momentous moment when things finally changed but slowly God taught me that the “wisdom” is not mine, by committing everything to God’s glory and not my own I now understand they are God’s wisdom… I do not own anything, not even my thoughts which are formed only from his teachings…

Through my own pride I was unable to see what the walkthroughs really were… God’s wisdom in all of us…

Slowly I started to share my own thoughts and I found as I shared, I would say things that I hadn’t even thought of, ideas that were forming as they were coming out of my mouth… by verbally sharing my thoughts a small seed that was planted in my mind was now growing into a tree with branches of different thoughts all coming from the initial seed.  Praise the Lord!

Internalising through DI has helped me to see the world differently, it has helped me to stop and listen to God before jumping into negative thinking and action, through walkthrough I have learnt to appreciate the creation of God which is to recognise the wisdom and knowledge he bestows upon every unique person… each sharing is a treasure of gold that has been unlocked and we are fortunate to have God share it to us. You make me cry, Zha. They are tears of God’s love flowing simply because He allowed you to express Himself through you.

 Sis. Rhona’s Reflection:

When I was invited to attend the Divine Indwelling Retreat last year, I came because I was just trying to be nice to ate Lei who invited me. I didnt know what Divine Indwelling meant and I was too shy to ask ate Lei about it. I remember searching in Google for the definition of Divine Indwelling to give me some idea of what it was about. It sounded ‘deep’ and I didnt want to be at the retreat not knowing what it was about. My initial reaction from Reading about it in Google was “boring”… so I tried to think of an excuse not to go anymore. But it was pride that got me to go anyway because I did not want to break my word. When I said I am going then I will go! Looking back, I am so grateful for the invitation because if I hadnt been invited, I would’ve continued to live a meaningless life, no direction and afraid to face reality. A lot has happened to me within a year since that retreat! But I know it is all part of God’s great plan. He has shown me how He works, how He loves, how He forgives and how He comforts. Through DI and WT, I have come to know more about our loving God!

Sis Lei’s reflection:

This is the first I’ve heard of this confession. Your pride has done you good in some way because had you not honoured your word to me then you wouldn’t be in this journey Rhona. Why would I forsake the peace that you will experience through DI? As far as I know, I invited you because I know that you will understand and you out of all my friends (not that I have many) will give this a go. I know that you will benefit from knowing about DI. Little did I know that in the next month, you’re going to need it.

I am very happy that Zsa and Jon gave Divine Indwelling a go because now we as a whole family are in this mission. You accepted Gods invitation & the most profound things is that you have allowed the Spirit of God to start working within yourself.

Through your sharings & reflections, I get to see glimpses of your humbleness but also your yearning to seek more of God and about Him.

Bro Joe’s reflection:

Sis. Rhona, like anyone serious in living DI and Walk through, they come to a moment of feeling that they would like the burn the whole world with His Presence and Love. Yes, the world is waiting for each one of us. What I have experienced through the years, what Mother Mary taught me, now I share with you. And you allowed the Lord to just work within you with the simple faith that you have. Now we are about to come to the point to reaching out to the many out there to see the glory and love of the Lord. It is not so much in the activity that we do; but rather it is when we help someone else to “fall in love with God” that we shall have done our part. There is no more stopping in loving the ONE WHO HAS LOVE US SO MUCH AS TO GIVE HIS ONLY SON FOR YOU, FOR ME, FOR EVERYONE. On that day that the Lord allowed me to see Him within me in 1968, I had to face the people with tears in my eyes and just uttered these words: IF WE ONLY REALIZE HOW MUCH GOD LOVE US…. IF WE ONLY REALIZE HOW MUCH GOD LOVE US.” Then I went back to my place in the corner near the altar and continue to pour out my tears the love of God for each one of us. WE ARE ALL PRECIOUS IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD. The Lord is looking for Himself in the image and likeness that He has made us to be.

20.What has Divine Indwelling got to do with our temporal need?

We now know that Divine Indwelling is the key that opens up for us all the treasures of God’s wisdom and knowledge which are hidden within the spirit of man. Such divine wisdom and knowledge enable us to see and understand that everything in Creation that God has made is a symbol, sacrament and indicator of God’s endless graces, generosity and providence for the survival and sustenance of man.

One who is truly one with God can never grow hungry, because God will give him the grace to see the endless potential of God’s abiding graces from the things of Creation. Just to think of it: one seed, planted and nurtured with love and care, yields a hundred seeds. A hundred seeds yields a thousand seeds. And a thousand seeds yields a million seeds. And so on. So, if guided only by the love of God, no one on earth will ever grow hungry. And yet there are a million other seeds available just waiting for man to nurture according to the intention of God: to manifest his love and generosity for all.

“Man shall not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” (Mt 4:4)

 Zsa’s Reflection:

MAN vs ROBOTS

A thought came to me as I came to the realisation that “our own wisdom does not come from us but from God”… I started to compare Man and computers.. or “robots”…

Computers have a processor, this is technically the “brain” of the computer, it holds memory, information, data… it can even start making its decisions if given enough information and experiences… but how does a computer get further information? It needs a person to write programs and codes and it needs to continue to “upgrade” itself, it needs to download more information.. but what it cannot do is get new information and create new ideas from scratch – from nothing… there must always be an entity that gives it new information – the one providing the information is the “computer technician” the one writing new code to allow it to function, etc, from there the computer can create a multitude of possibilities.

We are much similar to a computer… the brain is our processor, it holds memory, data, information… our senses – see, hear, smell, taste and feel are what we use to continuously “download” new information and from there our brain processes this information and creates knowledge, understanding and a multitude of ideas and possibilities… but what is the difference between man and computers? The one that provides us new information to “function” is God… and that is the biggest revelation for me.

The problem is that we cannot recognise this because of our pride and arrogance… in fact pride is instilled in human nature so much that we fail to recognise it is there… the Snake in Genesis deceived us into thinking that by eating the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil we will be as smart as God, but it was a deception to fool us and as the saying goes “to pull the hood over our eyes”. Eating the apple? There is no apple in the story. It is only the first evangelist Americans who went to the Philippines to teach us about the apple as a figure to make us remember the story. But there was no apple. The devil did not give us our own knowledge It merely opened our eyes to know that our brain can process and form its own opinions, to make its own choices but somehow we mistook this for knowledge… that is pride.

So our natural pride is not all our fault, it has become human nature for us to think that everything we conjure is ours, we are used to thinking in this way right from the beginning of our ancestors… But what we don’t understand is the recognition of God dwelling within us. Man’s usual “mindset” is that wisdom is associated to the brain, hence the ideas, inspirations and knowledge formed in our minds is ours alone! We get so stuck in this idea that we become proud of our own mind, “oh I’m so smart, I thought of that myself!” or “I knew that already”… But the truth is wisdom is separate from the mind, wisdom is not in the brain it is in the heart, wisdom is in the Holy Spirit dwelling in our heart, wisdom is God teaching us in the form of the Holy Spirit. – love this to pieces Zsa– you are so inspired when you are writing this, it penetrated right through me, here in the bosom of my being, praise be to GOD!!!

Therefore God is the computer technician continuously writing code, continuously upgrading us… our brain then processes this to create a multitude of ideas, under- standing, formed opinions and stores it in the memory. That is all our brain is! A processor! How humbling! How then can we be so proud when without God we are just a great processor of information? A really good processor but all the same the brain is just a storage device that pulls the information from all our senses, all our nerves and processes it.

That is why man who is always searching for happiness, peace and the answers to all their problems look for it in their mind but can never find the true answers. Why? Because our brain is just a storage device, a processor… we search our mind but our minds are limited to what we know of the experiences that we’ve had, what we’ve seen, what we’ve heard… But if we search for the answers within our hearts and search for the answers through God we allow for him “to upgrade us”, to teach us new things.

Those moments in our lives where we come to realisations out of thin air, or as if something just “came to our minds’? That is God bestowing his wisdom to us. Or a skill that we are naturally born with or perhaps didn’t know we were good at, these are gifts bestowed to us by God…

But hang on, some of you might say… I learned to walk from my mum and dad, and teachers taught me everything I learned in school and I learned everything I know through reading, and learning from other people, and teaching myself, etc That wasn’t God! But that is the beauty of the meaning of creation – that God instills everybody with wisdom and knowledge, so that we may learn from God through others also. He is a genius engineer who has created the most amazing system for the whole world to function, grow and evolve from cave men to this digital age… so our minds are always continuously downloading and upgrading as we come in contact with different people, different parts of his creation…

From this I understand now that everything I have learnt in my lifetime is from God who has been quietly teaching me everything all along… the skills that I have at work were taught by him, the career that I have was obtained by him giving me the skills, the material possessions I have was given to me by him through the money that was earned because he gave me the knowledge to do my job… it is truly humbling to know this and a privilege.

That is why Man cannot live on bread alone, the bread being our material attachment; our material attachment ultimately is the attachment to our own minds, our own intelligence, our own understanding. Because if we rely on this alone and discount that God is the creator of every seed that has grown to form in our minds we will not be able to continue hearing his words, we will not be able to continue to “upgrade” and to continue to function… if we live by every word that comes from the mouth of God he will guide us in every step of our lives, to his Kingdom and eventually to join him in eternal life. That is life in union with God, the unlimited capacity to allow God to work through you to continue to download and upgrade your mind.

 Terri’s reflection:

Zsa I share with you this journey whole-heartedly and you trusting us the aspirant facilitators with your own amazing God-sent reflections is something I am totally grateful for!!! Your writings truly reflect what has been, what it is now (breakthrough) and what is yet to become of the talent, wisdom and ultimately the love that you and Jon will share to the ministry and to every soul who will say yes to DI – I would have said this one and too many times now and will never tire – THANK YOU ZSA for being in the LLMS-Media Ministry- as you have been called and became obedient – like how you are being led by Mother Mary just like she was called at the time of Annunciation – continue on and God bless you with a humble and steadfast faith!!!

 Sis. Rhona’s reflection:

Beautiful analogy Zsa! This is blog worthy to be posted!!! [Symbol]  Love how you compared Man Vs Robots/computers! Did you know that a computer is called a ‘dumb’ machine? That is the definition of computer that I was taught in school. It is dumb because like you said on your reflection, it relies on codes or written program behind the scene for it to work. If only we can be ‘dumb’ for God! As in, like a computer, know nothing but depend on God for entirely everything! That is Divine Indwelling!

And a Walkthrough is a single ‘dumb’ machine connected to other ‘dumb’ machines forming a NETWORK of ‘dumb’ machines, working together in harmony and all relying on the one powerful source which is our Triune God!

Bro Joe’s reflection:

Beautiful insight, Sis. Rhona. We are all dumb machines connected to each other. Although dumb we still are powerful. We are supposed to be connected and appreciative of each other in this great enterprise and office of God, which we call the CORPORATE MYSTICAL BODY OF CHRIST. As God says, “For the wisdom of men is foolishness to God.” (1 Cor 3:19)

Sis Lei’s reflection:

We all have started as a dumb machine or computer that has put our own limitations on us, we struggle because nothing that we do is integrated with God, however through the Grace of God and his constant calling to me, He has allowed me to live and experience things that are hurtful so that I am no longer called a ‘dumb machine’ because I have started to allow God to refine, fix, re-align, tune up this machine. If I am a living tabernacle of God and if we are living it then we will not be calling ourselves a dumb machine but a diamond in a rough that needs refining. Not to be boastful or anything, the mercy of the Lord sustains me because His death on the cross is more powerful than our sins.

Ever since I can remember, God has blessed our family with our temporal needs, bringing our family to Australia and the story behind it is one of God’s miracle and awesome work.

I can remember Zsa’s persevering & patient attitude are God’s gift to her because she pretty much funded her own college schooling because Mum & Dad financially struggled because of our situation at the time.

Zsa’s childhood in the Philippines also shaped her to be who she is today.

Even though our situation here was difficult and uncertain, God provided everything and more than enough for us.

Terri’s reflection:

I am just forever grateful to you and Jon for sharing us your time, talent and treasure. In this very instance your talent and time for teaching me DROPBOX, let me know if the editing happened, thank you Zsa!!! God bless you and Jon.

Do you have your own sharings? Please write them down and also share. We would lie to hear from you.

Watch this space for Set 5 reflections next week.

Family Cenacle - Sharing our Journey Personal Reflections

Its All About Me by Rhona Alforte

Sis Rhona Alforte’s personal reflection:

Two weeks ago my son and I watched a movie called The Lego Ninjago Movie. Its about a young boy named Lloyd, along with his four best friends (Kai, Jay, Nya & Zane) who were secret ninjas protecting their hometown Ninjago City from the evil Lord Garmadon. Lloyd has been a social outcast in their city because his Dad is the evil Lord Garmadon who left him when he was a little baby. The movie focused more on the character of Lloyd and how he despised his father for being evil and ruining their city. When he got a chance to spend time with his Dad, he realised that his father is also a great warior and his mother was once a ninja herself who chose to give up being a warrior after having him. Her decision to leave the warrior life caused the anger and pain on his Dad, thus causing him to be so evil.

Lloyd and his friends went off to the most dangerous forest to look for the ultimate, ultimate weapon which can stop Lord Garmadon from ruining their city. When they got there, Lloyd’s friends discovered their individual special powers – Kai was Fire, Jay was Lightning, Nya was Water and Zane was Ice. Lloyd couldn’t figure out what his special power was. He was just assigned the colour green. It was when they were in great danger, when Lloyd realised that his special power was the power to combine all these powers in one! He had it in him to inspire his friends to keep going and fight to survive..

Towards the end of the movie, their Sensei told Lloyd that the greatest power one can ever have is to realise one’s power within and it is even a greater power when you help others discover that power within themselves also.

This movie reminds me of my journey in life. Not knowing the powers that I have within me and comparing myself to others whom I see as powerful and seemed to have it all. There were many occassions in the past where I questioned God, “Why do they get to have that and why cant I have that as well?”, “Why am I like this and not like that?”, “Why does this have to happen to me?”, “Why this and why that?”…

Took me 37 years to realise that life is all about me and my response to whatever situation or circumstance that God throws my way. Do I react with anger and regret or do I accept it as a challenge for me to be a better person? Life is about being grateful for what I have, not looking for what is lacking or what I don’t have, but rather counting the many unseen blessings and being thankful for them! My life is not perfect, but to know that the God who created me is perfect and is dwelling within me, gives me hope and security that there is a source of power, much greater than any power, that I am connected to.. and that is our God!

My ultimate, ultimate weapon is the love of God which I continue to receive each day. His love that is manifested in every single person in my life and everything that surrounds me. His love that is endless and merciful, full of compassion and understanding. His love which surpasses all the pain, hurt, loneliness and brokenness. His love which is the source of my being! This is my greatest discovery in life and the most priceless treasure found in my journey… And as I continue from here onwards, I pray that the same love which I have received, I may be able to share with others and help them also discover the same power of love within them.

Lesson 6 - Divine Indwelling Uncategorized

Lesson 6 Divine Indwelling Set 4 Part 1 of 2

Have you ever felt that no matter what we do, no matter how much money or possession we have, we seem to be lacking something? We feel that there’s a void within us that cannot be filled by anything that we own or by anyone…

In Set 4, we discover how the sacrament of Baptism is not only God’s way of accepting us as His adopted children but also reveals to us that the sacrament of Baptism is the way to the key….

Read Sis Zsa Halili’s meditations on Set 4 of Lesson 6 Divine Indwelling. She shares with us her profound witnessing of how God revealed to her His wisdom and knowledge.

Set 4

16. Why is it that many people cannot see the wisdom and knowledge of God?

There are several reasons why people cannot see the wisdom and knowledge of God. Some of the basic causes are ignorance, concupiscence, sin, distractions of the world, and pride of life.

Zsa’s reflection:

Before Divine Indwelling I couldn’t recognize the world for what it was God’s true expression of himself through each and every one of us and his creation. Because of pride, ignorance and the new age thinking of “I can do anything if I set my mind to it” I lacked the vision to understand that God instills his wisdom in 100% of our lives. He is already giving us the knowledge and wisdom through creation, nature, people, etc.. But we fail to recognize that he is talking to us, and he is talking to us through everything – externally through the world but we need to listen to him internally in spirit.

Terri’s reflection:

The realization through DI is an amazing breakthrough in our lives Zsa, and imagine living the rest of our earthly life with this gem I would like to say is the most amazing, for the lack of words,  that happened to me as a human being and as a child of such a loving GOD.

Continuation of Zsa’s reflection…

I failed to recognize God’s wisdom and knowledge because I failed to understand that my “abundant life” was not given to myself, I didn’t “earn” it myself – it is there because he allowed for it. All things come from God and not ourselves, I was enjoying all that God had given me – friends, relationships, the appreciation for nature, travel, pets but because of ignorance I was unable to see there was wisdom and knowledge to be gained in all that he was giving me and that is why he was giving them to me.

More importantly I failed to recognize his wisdom because I understood them to be my own wisdom, my own intelligence, my own thoughts. But I praise God for allowing me to recognize humility even for a small second, he opened up my eyes and I now understand that I do not own anything, not even my own thoughts and inspirations are mine; the wisdom, knowledge, thoughts and inspirations that come to me are not born from me, they are God’s. He has merely been talking to me all this time, sharing with me and teaching me.

Terri’s reflection:

Zsa, that small millimeter of humility paved our way to be with Him in a very unique and personal way – one that we can truly own up to as His child.. the bliss of this truth that has now been embedded in our hearts where He reigns begins the most beautiful journey in our lives,  and possibly the most significant if not the only relationship we will really ever need!

Bro Joe’s reflection:

Reading your thoughts make me want to embrace all of you with all the love that God has given us with.

Continuation of Zsa’s reflection…

I could hear his wisdom but recognized them as my own because I was too blind with pride and ignorance to see Him and hear him. How proud we are to think that all our thoughts come from ourselves alone, I wasn’t able to see this because I was stuck in mind, in my own “knowledge”, but if I keep searching with my mind alone.. my “brain”.. I recognize it is limited and there are a lot of unknowns, a lot of “why’s?”. That is why I always struggle and waste my time, in conflict with my thoughts.

By searching through my heart I now recognize that I allow for my mind to listen to God and recognize that he is teaching me. The thoughts that come from nowhere, thoughts that appear as if they are from thin air.. These are God’s words speaking to me in my heart for my limited mind to understand. –

Terri’s reflection:

The grace the Triune GOD has allowed for all of these to happen to you and me Zsa..  the way this truth leads me constantly with the faith and hope that He allows them all now and not even for me to worry anymore…

Rhona’s reflection:

Jesus lived on earth 2016 years ago and He has spoken of DI to His disciples before He left them. Read John 14 on the bible. Even before Christ was born, the world is already troubled. People have forgotten about God, His Laws, His covenant and His promises. He has sent numerous prophets to ask people to repent and turn back to Him. But not everyone listened and believed. Christ came to this world out of God’s love and mercy towards us. God wants us all to be saved and be united with Him and it was Jesus who became our way to the Father. Jesus taught his disciples everything He knows about our God and through the works of the Holy Spirit among the disciples that Jesus left behind, their Faith was passed on from generations to generations until today. The problem is that since it was 2016 years ago, many people today seemed to have forgotten or have chosen to ignore the truths that were revealed by Jesus to His disciples about our God. We seemed to be more occupied with worldy things, worldy thoughts and desires. We were taught how to be independent and self sufficient, and that money can buy anything!   We were born and immersed in worldly standards. Therefore our thoughts and desires were formed based on worldly influences surrounding us and that is how we become lost, confused, full of pride, greed and selfishness. However, it may have been 2016 years ago and more, but it is still the same God who created this world and everyone in it, who keeps calling us back ‘home’.. who keeps finding ways to get us back ‘home’.. And since we have heard Him calling today and have found our way back to Him, it is our utmost duty now (like the disciples back then) to keep the faith alive and to spread the way how each person can live life to the fullest through Divine Indwelling.

Lei’s reflection:

After reading Set 4 of this lesson, from that point on is when I truly appreciate the privilege of being a Christian and the true meaning of the sacraments and praying the rosary. Before, praying the rosary, going to mass, professing my sins to a priest through confession was all just an act that didn’t have a profound and personal meaning or importance to me. All of this was because I was brought up to become religious. Of course, my grandparents wanted to instil this in me and I am very grateful for it however, my personal relationship with God didn’t develop from just being religious. Most importantly through Divine Indwelling this is where God showed me that everything that He created, everything around us and every moment of our life is His gift to us. Seldom do we cherish and appreciate the not so good things in life because we think when something bad happens to us, we think that it is God punishing us or God doesn’t love us.  When we ought to know that good or bad that happens it is God that commands it. We should always be gracious no matter what our circumstances are, and it is only through having a personal relationship with God that we can become gracious.

17.Since we do not know how to be with God, what did God do?

Since we do not know how to be with God, God promised to give to us His Holy Spirit who will stay within us to teach us all that God wants us to know and to lead us into all the truths.

“The Father will give you another Advocate who will be with you forever…. You know him because he is with you and is in you.” (Jn 24:16-17)

“When the Spirit comes…. He will lead you into all the truths. The Spirit will take what I give him and tell it to you.” (Jn 16:13,15)

Zsa’s Reflection:

In the bible the disciples followed Jesus everywhere just so that they could learn from him, Jesus “their rabbi” was so inspiring that when he said follow me they left everything behind to follow him to learn from him… AMEN!!! Now that he has died for us on the cross and resurrected all we need to do is look within us and listen, it’s so easy! Just DI! –Praise be to GOD for this reflection Zsa,  this is the whole epitomy of our faith.. the CROSS !  (Teri’s reflection)

In this world everyone is searching for meaning in their lives in everything, some find enlightenment through yoga and meditation, some people travel to “find themselves”, some people read self help books, put motivational quotes on their facebook pages, etc for those that are “religious” they pray – a billion verbal prayers and novenas, follow and listen to get enlightenment from priests, lay speakers, etc by nature we are always searching for some sort of guidance, for something or someone to impart wisdom in us…

But to understand that God gives us the Holy Spirit dwelling in our hearts is truly humbling… how privileged and lucky we are, everyday of our lives we have him walking beside us, imparting his unlimited wisdom in us.. There is no need to go through so much trouble to find “spiritual enlightenment”… to find true wisdom, he is already there speaking to us, we just need to recognize him and listen… to understand that the Holy Spirit dwells in us means that we should not discount our own selves either, God also teaches us and imparts the kingdom of God in us, hence we also need to share this with the world.

Rhona’s reflection:

We are truly blessed to have been called each by our name into this mission. Knowing about DI is certainly a great privilege and it is the most important lesson I have learnt in my life! I believe that everyone in this journey has a role to play as new disciples in the 21st century! God is counting on us to let others know about the key to fullness of life with Him and we have all been chosen to take part in this journey and help others get on the same boat also! Through our continuous exercise of DI and WT, God is molding us, strengthening us, preparing us all for the journey ahead so that when we reach our final destination we may be all worthy to be with God in His eternal kingdom!

Bro Joe’s reflection:

Since 50 years ago that the Lord allowed me to see within me and told me to look for Him in the hearts of others and to tell everyone that He loves us all and that He is in all, my life has had only one direction: to go in silence within myself and be with Him and to help others find the same peace and love that only God can give from within our soul. As I have been telling you: there is a lot that God wants to reveal to us. And all He asks of us is to be with Him in us and to listen to Him in our sharing and walking through our lives. How wonderful it is to be in heaven on earth! Let us continue sharing our lives to all. Our Lives are God’s own life too.

Lei’s reflection:

Through God’s own breath, his ‘Rua’, it is His own life that He gave to us… What He gave to us is something personal.. Through the Holy Spirit He wants to make sure that He is always with us because we are His most precious creation…

Set 3: DIVINE INDWELLING – KEY TO ALL THE TREASURES OF GOD’S WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGEWhere is all the treasures of God’s wisdom and knowledge hidden?

14. All the treasures of God’s wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Jesus Who by His Holy Spirit dwells in the depths of the heart of each person baptized. This is how precious each baptized is.

Sis Aiza’s Reflection:

No matter what I am in the past my baptism is a mark of how Jesus has changed me. What other say before “my spirit is willing but the body is weak”. But through DI and baptism my body, spirit and soul helping each other to grow me more to earn wisdom and knowledge. I’m happy that I was baptized I knew all the angels in heaven are singing that day. I’m not just baptized with water by Father John but God baptized me with the Holy Spirit.

 Bro Joe’s reflection:

Beautiful realization, Sis. Aiza. Since the day of Baptism God, Father Son and Holy Spirit are now dwelling in spirit within your soul. We renew this truth every time we do DI and when we renew His Presence in every Holy Communion that we receive.

Sis Lei’s reflection:

You are very blessed because God’s grace of the Sacrament of Baptism were given to you by God at a time where you are learning about God through attending seminars and retreats. You have been made aware of the grace that you receive on that day, you had the opportunity to praise Him, thank Him and to worship Him.

The best gift that you could ever receive is God’s indwelling presence within you. It means that He doesn’t want to part ways with you. He wants us to enjoy the ‘life’ that we ought to live that He has planned for us.

AMEN Sis Lei!

Sis. Rhona’s reflection:

We are all travellers here on earth and heading towards our ultimate destination, which is to be with our loving God for eternity. Being baptised means God has claimed us to be His children and He dwells in the deepest centre of our souls waiting for us to meet Him there each time we exercise DI in our daily lives. He is within us to guide us in our journey of life and to sustain us throughout our travel.. we simply just have to keep going back to Him, doing DI and sharing within our Walk Through teams about our experiences and learnings along the way.

Tita Tess’ Reflections

I have just realized it few years ago that it is only God could bring us joy so as sadness.

  1. Please explain “The Divine Indwelling is the key that opens up all the treasures of God’s wisdom and knowledge.”

DI and Walk through are therefore important in order to form the habit of being always in the Presence of God and be united with him. Being mindful of the Presence of God within and to remain united with God evoke the light of God from within. This light of God is what God uses to enlighten us, to give us peace, to inspire us and to guide us every moment of our lives in our journey through life.

One who is truly one with God can never grow hungry, because God will give him the grace to see the endless potential of God’s abiding graces from the things of Creation. Just to think of it: one seed, planted and nurtured with love and care, yields a hundred seeds. A hundred seeds yields a thousand seeds. And a thousand seeds yields a million seeds

Sis Aiza’s Reflection:

This parable means a lot. The seed represents the person. But for me not all seeds will grow. But the seed that is nurtured with love and care will yield a hundred seeds. There are people who hear the word but do not care for it. They just let the word rest instead of integrating into their lives. Sometimes they are remain the same seed, just waiting what will happen to their life. No changes at all. Those people hear the gospel but don’t cultivate it through acceptance and appropriate action in lifestyle. “Walang pagbabago” ganun pa rin ang behaviour. No Godly wisdom grows within their hearts.

I used to call myself that kind of seed. I know Divine Indwelling. I’ve attended seminars and retreats. I learned much about the teaching of the word of God. I go to church every Sunday but I can’t call myself a Saint. I’m still not perfect. I lose my temper all the time . Before when my friends tell me, “Aiza Lets go to the city this Sunday”? and I just replied to them, “hindi pwede kasi meron kaming cenacle” and they said, “wow ikaw na pupunta sa langit, baka maging Santo ka nyan.” Before parang akong nasasaktan kapag naririnig ko pero deep inside I feel guilty kasi Alam ko hindi naman ako religious. But now I’ve changed; once they told me that, I just smiled at them as if nothing happened. I know I am not perfect, I used to call them thorns and weeds beside the seed. Sometimes I fell among thorns so I couldn’t grow fast. I am still a young believer still developing; but there are so many worries and destruction of Earth that prevent me from developing properly. But since I follow the proper way of connecting with God through Divine Indwelling I learned to avoid those worries in life. I just follow what is the right thing. However, I can’t imagine that the one who used to call me Saint joined me in our cenacle day. But I can’t believe myself that I can teach and share some word of God now to others. He learned that day about the importance of silence and share to our co workers. Im happy because I know once I cultivate the message of God to me, the Lord will indeed multiply good things in my life. Like the movie that I’ve watched before our walkthrough.

“Risen”

Like Clavius a harsh Roman Tribune whom many feared. Working under the noto-rious Pontius Pilate, Clavius leads legions of Roman soldiers on a daily basis, from the battlefield to the city streets. Clavius is a very smart, skilled tribune who appears to have control over nearly every situation he faces. However, his world is turned upside down as he encounters the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Clavius is shaken by this experience, and after the body of Christ “disappears,” he is ordered by Pilate to find His body, whether He be dead or alive. But little does Clavius know that this manhunt will turn into a spiritual journey that will not only change his life, He joined with the disciples to meet Jesus in Galilee even if he don’t believe in him. While in their journey the disciples decided to go fishing. They tried many times until morning but they didn’t catch any single fish. But Jesus said? Any luck? Try to throw the net on the other side. The disciples followed Jesus to cast again there nets. Suddenly they caught a lot of fish. Simon taught that once you believe in him he will gave you what you need. Just have faith. Clavius used to ask Simon, “ how do you know Jesus will Rise?” Simon said that Jesus said he would rise; but the truth is we doubted him. And then Clavius witnessed how Jesus healed the leper, Jesus touch and hug the leper and ask Jesus “why are you touching me, nobody wants to touch me” Im sick. But Jesus only ask him one question Do you believe in me? Do you have faith? Then suddenly he healed the leper. Clavuis witnessed all Jesus miracles but till doubted him. At that night when Simon ask Jesus come near me, “Do you believe in me Simon? Do you love me? Simon replied “with all my heart.” Then Jesus said to him “you must feed My sheep.” When all the disciple are sleeping, Clavius sit beside Jesus and said “ Jesus I don’t even know what to ask? Jesus said Just speak your heart, “reconcile all this with the world I know said Clavius.” With your eyes you have seen, still you doubt? Imagine the doubt who never seen, imagine what they face? What frightens you? What is it that you seek? Jesus asked him. Clavius said “Being wrong and I’m seeking for peace in my heart.” Sudddenly Clavius cried and start praising Jesus. Before Jesus left, He said “I’m going to prepare a place for you all. Go and preach the whole world of the Gospel, You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and to the end of the world. And know that I’ll be with you always. Its not just about life eternal but how life is lived”

After watching this Its not just about believing him’ He wants us to preach and share the good news and all his doings. We should have the courage to remember him always because he will guide and help us because God is in our heart. Now I know what I’m seeking for, I want peace in my heart and eternal life with Jesus my God.

Sis Lei’s reflection:

He said “I’m going to prepare a place for you all. Go and preach the whole world of the Gospel, You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and to the end of the world. And know that I’ll be with you always. It’s not just about life eternal but how life is lived”

This is a very intense and deep message by God, it is also a personal message to us if we know what Jesus is referring to. We are either IN or OUT with the Lord, let us continue to develop our relationship with God. If we are serious and with our complete surrender to God, He promises that He will prepare the way for us. You reap what you sow, so if you plant good seeds then you will bear good fruits. Sa ating journey maging focus muna tayo kay Lord tapos God himself will show us the way on how we can preach the Gospel. Ang buhay natin ang pinaka magandang ‘gospel’ that we can preach to others. There are no effective ‘proof’ or ‘evidence’ on how God’s love unfolds within us than our own personal experiences with God. We are the apostles of our time.

Through DI and WT, we have opened up the way for the Spirit of God to take over our soul and mind, this message becomes personal to us through the exercise of DI & WT’s.

Through our Walk Throughs madami akong natutunan not only as knowledge but also I can apply this in my life., God continues to keep the gate open for me para lagi ko makita yung manifestation ng grasya ni Lord pero ang pinaka important is our constant union with God through deep contemplation of God. Para sa akin that is what I need to ‘master’. Eventually ang lahat ng bagay na nangyayari sa atin will be a constant union with God, wala ng iba kahit lahat ng nangyayari sa atin at lahat ng gagawin natin connected or nsync na kay Lord.

Napaka ganda ng sinabi ni Lord na He will prepare a way for us, it’s a promise from Him. God will never lie nor will He forsake us, kailangan lang talaga natin makipag cooperate kay God. J

Sis Rhona’s reflection:

God has planted a seed in our heart — our spirit! And it is our duty to nourish our spirit by being in constant union with God through DI. By being connected to our God, He alone will show us the way, He alone will provide for our needs, He alone will strengthen us and use us according to His will. But God has given us freedom and choices in life. Either we choose to be with Him or without Him, He will always be there for us!

I pray that you will choose to always be with Him Aiza! Temptations may come and distract you, but I pray that you will know where to go and who to ask for help in moments of trials & sufferings. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow. Today has enough trouble of its own.” (Mt 6:33-34)

Continue to deepen your faith and relationship with our God by practicing DI more often and continue to join our Walkthrough so that you will have a place to process all the wisdom and knowledge that you have gained in your journey, and where others can learn from your experience too! Many souls are waiting for God’s love, many are lost and do not know the way, I pray that when an opportunity comes your way, be that light for that person, be that Christ living in you!

Sis Terri’s reflection:

Sis Aiza, thank you for sharing your precious reflections!

As a very special child of God we inherited his unlimited kingdom waiting for us to bask to, nurture and share to our love ones and our community – live & love life that way God intended through being obedient to His will, surrendering to His ever faithful and magnanimous love and mercy and through it all we will be OK! Kung magkamali man tayo alam na natin paano babalik.. Lagi lang SIYANG naghihintay para buksan natin ang puso natin sa KANYA where He would always, ALWAYS want to be! Everything else is just 2nd class – kay Lord lang tayo makakaramdam nang First Class at High end na “pamumuhay” as long as Siya ang ating isasabuhay, AMEN!

Set 3: DIVINE INDWELLING – KEY TO ALL THE TREASURES OF GOD’S WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE

  1. What is the key that opens up all the treasures of God’s wisdom and knowledge and opens us up to the Solution of human pains and problems?

Contemplation on the Divine Indwelling is the key that opens up ALL the TREASURES OF GOD’S WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE. This is what Colossians 2:2-3 says. People simply have to know what this key is and how to use it. The Key to the Solution to our human pains and problems is our union with God who dwells in us. It is when we live all the time in the presence of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit like little children that we can feel the providence of God.

Sis Aiza’s Reflection:

All of us experience pain and problems, I also witnessed someone who cried out saying “Why me, why me God”?, it causes us sometimes to separate with God because we blame him with what happens in our lives. The answer to our pains and problems don’t lie in the world. We suffer pains because we are sad. We want pleasure and to be happy. But we don’t know that what makes one happy often is the very thing that brings pain and suffering. The only thing we need is the key to the solution of problems, it is to know Divine Indwelling and how to connect with God. Because God is the only one who know the true meaning of life and happiness.

 Bro Joe’s reflection:

The suffering in the world is a sign of the conflict between our God-given nature of being image and likeness of an infinite God against limited space and time. Our attachment to space and time causes conflict against the very purpose of our being here on earth as God intended from all eternity.

Sis Lei’s reflection:

Its amazing and wonderful that we are now in this Divine Indwelling journey and you are very blessed Aiza because God has called you and your whole family to be in the cenacle and in the DI journey. Its not important to know & be aware of what we can do for the Lord but what the Lord can do for us.

Sis Rhona’s reflection:

I think we often forget that when we were created, we were made in the image and likeness of our unlimited God, and that our spirit is the true source of our life which truly feeds our soul, mind and body. And what feeds our spirit is the Holy Spirit of God which is dwelling in each of us baptised! And if the Holy Spirit is dwelling in us, then Jesus and God our Father is also dwelling in us because we believe in the Triune God – visible and invisible. To know this knowledge of Divine Indwelling and experience the loving presence of our living God in your daily life is truly remarkable!

Sis Terri reflection:

I can say in all honesty and through my personal testimony that every misery I had was all self-inflicted! Ginusto ko ang lahat nang nangyari dahil bulag ako sa tunay na nature nang pagkatao ko. Marami akong kaalaman na bahagi lang nang limitado kong pagkatao dahil ganun ko gustong isipin… TAO LANG AKO… (*I wanted everything to happen because I was blind to the true nature of my own self. I knew that a lot of this was a part of my limited being, because that is how I wanted to think… I’m only Human…)

When I met God through Divine Indwelling nabago lahat yun, I realised ANAK AKO NANG DIYOS!!! (When I met God through Divine Indwelling everything changed, I realised that I’M A CHILD OF GOD!!!)

Isang walang hanggang kaharian nang Panginoon ang tunay kong tirahan at saan Siya naroon? DITO, DITO SA PUSO KO!!! at sa puso nang bawat isa sa atin pamula nang tayo’y naging binyagan! (*The eternal kingdom of the Lord is my true home,  and where does he dwell? HERE, HERE IN MY HEART!!! and in the hearts of each and everyone of us, from the moment we’re baptised!) My whole lifetime will never suffice to measure all of God’s love to us glorified when He gave His only Son to die on the cross to save all of mankind! He sanctifies my soul.. He is faithful and will continue to fulfill and sustain me, how can I ever want for anything?

  1. Cite the bible text that shows that the Divine Indwelling is the key that opens up all the treasures of God’s wisdom and knowledge?

Col. 2:2-3 Christ-in-you “is the key that opens up all the treasures of God’s wisdom and knowledge.”

 Sis Aiza’s Reflection:

Once you believe that God is in your heart, you will understand all the things in life even problems and sufferings that happens in your life. We already know what actions to take next or the right thing to do. Because all of these are gifts of God. He will not give us problems to suffer but to learn from it.

 Bro Joe’s reflection:

Problems and conflicts are signs that God is calling us to silence and to be with Him. “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavily laden. I will give you rest.” (Mt 11:28-30) So at the instance of anything negative, the first thing we need to do is to “exhale towards our heart, relax in the Presence of the Lord” and do DI.

Sis Lei’s reflection:

For me Lent sums up who Jesus Christ is for me, and through Lent that’s where I was able to reflect and connect with Jesus. Especially at the Triduum mass and also when I started to do my own pilgrimage or *bisita iglesia. In comparison to Christmas that is full of hype around gift giving, parties etc. Lent is a celebration for me to be with God. I can feel the solemnity of God during Lent compared to Christmas.

However, after DI has been introduced to me, I am slowly being transformed to know that everyday for me should be with God and commemorating all the things He has given to me and He has done for me. Every day is a celebration of lent, Christmas. birthdays etc with God.

**Visita Iglesia (Church Visit) is a Holy Week practice in the Philippines where devotees visit and pray in at least 7 separate churches. It can be done in one day, usually on Maundy Thursday, or it can take days until before Easter Sunday if churches are far apart.

Sis Rhona’s reflection:

“Christ in you”… is the key that opens up all the treasures of God’s wisdom and knowledge. When Jesus was born, He was born with a mission – to save us all and redeem us. But not only this, he also taught His disciples about God’s wisdom and His ways. Jesus is a manifestation of our invisible God. Those who met Jesus in His time here on earth, their lives were changed or transformed. A lot of people were healed, forgiven and set free. And since Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, our own encounter with Him makes us grow stronger in our faith and live a transformed or changed life! “God from God, Light from Light, True God from True God”… how have you encountered Christ today?

  1. Why is Col 2:2-3 extremely important for man?

To know the key that Christ is within our spirit is extremely important. In order to link with him within our spirit we must “worship him in spirit and in truth” in God’s Divine Indwelling within our soul.

Sis Aiza’s Reflection:

Indeed, True worship must be in spirit that is engaging the whole heart. The more we know about God, the more we appreciate him, the more we appreciate him the deeper our worship. The deeper our worship the more God is glorified. Being connected to him by doing Divine Indwelling prayer each time not only when we need him but every minute and hour in sadness, suffering and happiness.

Sis. Rhona’s reflection:

Back in my Singles For Christ days, I used to love it when we sang songs of praise and worship. This used to be my highest form of prayer because the lyrics of the songs help me to express my thoughts and feelings to God. We would often lift our hands up in praise as if reaching out to Him and asking Him to be with us.. Upon knowing about Divine Indwelling, I have come to enjoy being in silence with the Lord and contemplating rather than being loud in my praise and worship. It is a higher form of prayer than singing songs because doing DI is not just about praising God, but being with Him, in His loving presence.. we can talk to Him in silence, we can listen to Him in silence, we can feel Him in silence and we are closer to Him than we think because He is only a single breath away!

Join us next week as we continue to share Sis Aiza’s meditation on Set 3… stay tuned!

God bless and Praise the Lord!

Set 2 takes us through the revelation of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mother Mary through Divine Indwelling. Mother Mary shares with us that they key to the triumph of our own heart is through our complete surrender and devotion to God.

Through Mother Mary’s own message she gives us the reassurance to focus ourselves on the presence of God within us…

Set 2: Our Lady’s Message

  1. Message of the Holy Father (Pope Benedict XVI) in his commentary on the Third Secret of Fatima

Message of the Holy Father (Pope Benedict XVI) in his commentary on the Third Secret of Fatima “I would like finally to mention another key expression of the “secret” which has become justly famous: “my Immaculate Heart will triumph.” What does this mean? The Heart open to God, purified by contemplation of God, is stronger than guns and weapons of every kind. The fiat of Mary, the word of her heart, has changed the history of the world, because it brought the Savior into the world – because, thanks to her Yes God could become man in our world and remains for all time.”

 Cathy’s reflection:

I believe that Mother Mary has a big part of contribution to make the plan of God to happen. Because of her humility, faith and acceptance we were saved from our sins. And who am I to say NO to God, I am nothing compare to Mama Mary. All I want to do is open my heart, purified by contemplation of God, exercise Divine Indwelling for the readiness of my heart and soul to be worthy for the love and sacrifice Jesus has done for me, TO SAVE MY SOUL. With that belief and faith, Her Immaculate will triumph.

Sis Lei’s reflection:

Mama Mary continues her mission till the end of the world. Through our baptism we were consecrated to God by His spirit dwelling within us and by being given the gift of Faith. Also through our baptism God the Father entrusted His creation including us to Jesus Christ that we maybe one with Him.

So Mama Mary also being a human being she was also entrusted to Jesus Christ and because she has been consecrated to God, she also takes up her mission to bring many souls back to God. Just like Mama Mary we also have the same mission, to always be one with Christ and to proclaim the good news that God is within them.

Sis Rhona’s reflection:

“The heart open to God, purified by contemplation of God, is stronger than guns and weapons of every kind”

When my ex-husband told me that he wanted to separate and leave me with my son, my heart was crushed. And for the first few days I was not able to sleep, eat or stop my heart from beating so fast that every heartbeat was so painful and heavy on the chest. It was probably the worst feeling I have ever experienced in my life. I was in so much pain, fearful, lost, scared and broken. Yet God has granted me the grace to see Him during those darkest days! And so upon understanding that He was there with me during those moments and He was the one carrying me through those days, I opened my heart to Him and just surrendered everything to Him! As if burying all the pain I felt and grieving for healing. Little by little God started to take charge of my life as I practised the exercise of DI and continued to join our weekly WTs. God arranged all things in my life for my best interests and allowed me to be transformed to become a much stronger person, a better person! And as I continue with my journey, He is always molding me to be better, teaching me His ways, directing me to the right path – – sis Rhona version 36.0! J

Bro Joe’s reflection:

Mama Mary is the one fighting so hard to help us realize the DESIGN of the Lord for all of us (Eph 1:4 and Col 1:27/2:2-3). She will help us. That is the reason why we have the Cenacle to pray and to listen to her instruction and the revelation in Scriptures. In your Cenacle try to discuss a Set or Two after the prayer before the fellowship meal. Start with Lesson 6 on Divine Indwelling. The rest of the lessons will follow.

  1. What is Our Lady asking of us?

What Our Lady has been asking from us is to be united with God in His Divine Indwelling within our soul so that we may activate the KEY that opens up all the treasures of God’s wisdom and knowledge which help us to promote the solution to the problems of humanity.

 Cathy’s reflection:

As I have mentioned the Divine Indwelling Retreat with Bro. Jo gave me a significant transformation and perception on how to deepen my relationship with God. Being united with God is such a wonderful and amazing feeling that until now I cannot explain. I am now conscious in all the things that I’m doing and with the people around me. God allowed me to have the KEY that I need to exercise more. The key is the Divine Indwelling. God will answer all your questions instantly showered with wisdom and knowledge. I can communicate anytime, anywhere to Jesus by doing DI.

Sis Lei’s reflection:

I was deeply touched & humbled with your sharing Ate Cathy during our set 7 Walk through, about living out or practicing what you pray. Talaga binibigyan mo ng kahulugan (*you are really giving meaning) and you take into heart what we pray and what we discuss in our walk throughs.

Through your sharing you made me realize that we need to live out what we pray and what we believe in. Your sharing struck me because I don’t always practice what I preach & I could easily get derailed and distracted and even self centred! I can see humbleness through you. Continue to be sincere in your journey with God because I know that you believe that no matter what happens kahit saan ka man niya ilagay (*no matter where God puts you), do not let fear get into you.

Allow the Lord, Ate Cathy that through your life experiences and you and your families transformation is an example of the work of constant exercise of Divine Indwelling and living out your life through the Walk Throughs.

Thank you for your sharings and insights Ate Cathy!

Sis Terri’s reflection:

I too am humbled and so inspired after reading both your reflections, sis Lei and Kathy! I am such a blessed human being – the grace of God’s flows through you both right now in me! Alam nyo ba (*Do you know that) right now I just learned that 2 of our valued colleagues here at work were made redundant, and for a short moment I was stunned and speechless.. Then like a sparkle of a bright new star seen on a very dark night I remember to go inside me, in the deepest centre of my soul where I truly belong! I am in tears as I write these next few lines as I felt I am no longer fazed by these negativities going on around me! Alam ni Lord saan niya ako ilalagay (*God knows where to place me) so why I should I even fear? God bless us all!

Sis Tess’ Reflections

We humans tend to always look for companionship through others. But if we profoundly understand His presence, there will be no one else that could replace him in our hearts.

(*In my own life, there is nothing else that I long for other than to always feel God in my heart. I have gotten to know him deeper as a Father, friend and a companion who is always by my side. I don’t think I would be able to to do anything if he were not there. He is the only one I depend on. Why would I look for temporary relationships from others that cannot be given by mortals?) We humans tend to always look for companionship through others. But if we profoundly understand His presence, there will be no one else that could replace him in our hearts.

Sis Rhona’s reflection

Sis Cathy, you are truly blessed for answering the call of Mother Mary and Jesus to be in this spiritual journey with them and learning about DI! Your willingness to follow the process and exercise DI is truly remarkable! I pray that now that you have found the key which opens up the door in your heart towards God’s loving presence dwelling in your soul, may you grab hold of this grace and use this key to help you discover so much more about yourself & our loving God! Just keep doing DI and continue to join us in our WTs until it becomes your habit and way of life to be in God’s presence and sharing His love from within you to others!

Thank you for reading, watch out for the next walk througher who will share their meditations on Set 3 of Lesson 6.

Praise be to God!
