3. Why is man never satisfied with whatever he achieves and takes from the earth?

Earthly values cannot fill up man’s soul because the deepest centre of his soul is reserved for God alone.

Reflection:

I can never achieve perfect happiness, peace, productivity, and sustainability because my efforts are subject to my human limitations. That is why I’m grateful to God who listens to me 24/7 and practicing DI allows us to listen to God in return. All I need is to pause and speak to Him through Divine Indwelling and miracles just flow in front of my very eyes.

Rhona’s reflection:

So true! It is like as if we are given a new set of eyes which sees things in a different perspective and things that we did not see in the past all becomes so clear to us!

Lei’s reflection:

About a month ago, I went to mass and the Gospel was about being faithful and the priest’s homily struck me because when he gave his homily he said that to be faithful we must learn how to Listen, Stop, Be Silent, Pray within our heart & Follow Christ.

4. What can truly fill up the soul of man, why?

Only God can truly fill man’s spirit with Himself. Man is made for God alone and it is only the Creator Himself who deserves the best seat within man’s spirit.

Reflection:

My own efforts will bring perfect results only when our Perfect Father wills it so. In my school years, I did my best in my studies, thinking that academic achievements would fill my insecurities about having deformed ear lobes and from coming from a broken family. Yes, God is gracious to have helped me achieve academic honours, which have brought me to my current profession as a CPA. But it was only when I embarked on my spiritual journey that the wisdom from the Holy Spirit has given me genuine fulfillment in life. Surrendering my limited human knowledge and abilities to God does not mean that I need to forget what I’ve learnt from school. Rather, I’ve realized that the mere act of surrendering was necessary to open up my mind and soul so that the Holy Trinity would bring to perfection whatever is already good in me.

Rhona’s reflection:

Amen! It is when we surrender and unite ourselves with our Creator that we begin to realize why things have had to happened in the past. It is when we are connected with our God that we are able to accept situations that have happened in our life, that is beyond our control, a lot easier because God has given us the wisdom to understand.

Lei’s reflection:

Embarking on our spiritual journey through Divine Indwelling by using the key to open up God’s full wisdom and knowledge, is where we get to witness within ourselves our own transformation of who God would want us to be. We are already perfect in His eyes. Human knowledge is foolishness to God if we don’t align and offer everything back to God. We already have the universe within our reach. What more could we ask for?

Tess’ Reflections:

I used to please all my friends just to have a good relationship with them but it always ended up in betrayal. It took me a while before I realized that the first relationship that I need to establish is my relationship with my Lord, who is the Supreme King and Greatest Friend. Having a good relationship with Him made all my earthly relationships profound and joyful and yet detached. Not detached in a way, that I am not affected, DETACHMENT that if God’s plan will tell me that I need to move on to the next phase, I will just say, “Lord, here I am to answer your call.” And this is so liberating.

5. Please explain “Unless man will resolve to go back to God within him, man will never find rest.”

Our Almighty Creator has already conceived our life stories even before we were born.

Bro Jo:

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” (Jer 1:5)…. For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jer 29:11)…. For even before the world was made God had already decided that we be one with Christ and that we be holy and spotless in his sight.” (Eph 1:4)

Therefore, He knows beforehand, all that we need to accomplish our respective purposes on earth. If man insists on doing things that are against God’s original plan, that’s when conflict begins. And when man experiences internal and external conflicts, he becomes uncomfortable, restless, and dissatisfied. Man can regain a peaceful life only once he surrenders to God’s will and by letting His Spirit, dwelling in man’s innermost being, guide his thoughts, actions, emotions, and decisions.

Reflection:

A happy, peaceful, productive, and sustainable life can only be achieved through God’s grace and man’s willingness to cooperate with God in having that deep and meaningful relationship with Him through DI. My own actions, knowledge, and skills would oftentimes fall short of my personal standards. It is not bad to have a personal standard that you try to live by or try to achieve because this becomes your goal in life. However, don’t be too hard on yourself if you are not reaching your goals! God’s standards are a lot simpler – Just DI and He will take care of everything for you! Through Divine Indwelling exercise, I find true contentment whenever I seek God’s help to fill the gaps between my human weaknesses and His perfect plan for my life.

Lei’s reflection:

Ryan, I googled the meaning of your name and you probably already know this but your name means ‘descendant of the king’ or ‘little king’ so you are a descendant of God. Amazing isn’t it? Nakakataba ng puso to know that you are a descendant of the King. If we try comprehend everything that is happening to us we will go crazy! Being a descendant of a King also means being a servant because that is how Jesus lived on Earth, He is a king but He served. That’s why continue your DI, doing walk through and writing your personal reflections on the lessons because you will find it fulfilling and it is your own way of evangelizing also.

Bro Jo:

Your mission, Bro. Ryan, is to help everyone realize that all of us are “descendants of the King,” not only a mere saying, but it is really THE TRUTH OF OUR NATURE. Go, and tell everyone this good news! Almost all are waiting for the truth.

Terri reflection:

Ryan when I started hearing you share your life story / reflections on FB (Forever
Blessed posts) and then our WTs I slowly understood why you were brought into the WT/ mission… just like how I progressively understood why each of us were brought into each other’s arms to be with in this journey and man, am I mighty blessed!!! I pray and heed that you continue to journey in writing, evangelizing the daily significant manifestations of the Triune God in your life; the intercession of Mother Mary and how each day you become closer to becoming a latter-day saint…is it possible? I certainly think so! Because just like Bro Jo says: heaven is already here on earth, we can with the grace of GOD live a nearly saintly life! God bless you Ryan!

Bro Jo:

We are already saints – saints in progress, in the making – for we belong to the COMMUNION OF SAINTS (Creed).

Tess’ reflections:

I was once a confused soul. Now that I am journeying in this spirituality, I try not to go back to Mansion 1 and 2. Although it is a constant battle, if I feel that I will be defeated, I will run within me and find MY BELOVED there. Doon ako magsusumbong at siya ang aking salamin upang Makita ko ang aking pagkatao. But not even one incident that I will hide myself from Him because He will embrace me and will say, “It’s ok, I am here.” I will be energized again and will go to sacrament of RECONCILIATION to bathe myself. There are some weaknesses in me that I am still battling but I know God, will make it shine gradually until I shine…there in His kingdom.

Bro Jo:

We do not worry about our weaknesses. Like St Paul we are able now to say, “Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christʼs power may rest on me. That is why, for Christʼs sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” (2 Cor 12:7-10) – AMEN Bro Joe, amen!

Now start commenting your reflections in the comments below! This is the process of team global walkthrough.
