LESSON 6 DIVINE INDWELLING – SET 1 – PART 1 of 2

The Divine Indwelling: Key to the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary & the release of Graces.

Join us on our Introductory Meditation guide “Lesson 6: Divine Indwelling – Key to the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary & the release of Graces”. For those of you who are new, Lesson 6 is created to help guide you further in your Divine Indwelling and contemplation.

The meditation guide contains a Lesson Set with Questions that are to be read and contemplated. It is recommended to write anything that inspires you from the contemplation and we encourage you to look within yourself for reflections on the answers.

For example “What is man looking for on earth and why is man never satisfied?”, now replace this question with “What am I looking for on earth and why am I never satisfied?” and write down your answer.

The meditation guide is intended to be shared in a “Walkthrough” where fellow members can share each other’s reflections and discernments.

We invite you to join us here in divineindwelling.org for our Weekly Online walkthroughs where every week we will show you the reflections of different Mission Aspirants in our community. We hope this inspires you to continue your internal journey with God dwelling inside you.

Most importantly don’t forget to share your reflections in the comments!

**For the intention of this article we will only post the Set Question and the reflections of the Mission Aspirant. If you want to follow along with the complete Set please contact us for further details.

Set 1
1. What is the subject of the present lesson?

Lesson 6 is about Divine Indwelling.

Reflection:

For me, Divine Indwelling is the intimate exercise of of being and communicating with God who dwells within me. Practicing this discipline has been helping me tame my reactions to positive and negative circumstances in my day to day living. Overcoming adverse situations seem a lot easier whenever I surrender my concerns to Him and turning my mind into His Presence within me.

Rhona’s Reflection:
As St Paul has written to the Galatians:
‘It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me’ (Gal 2:20)
This bible verse kindly reminds me of your reflection – that the strength and grace you have when overcoming adverse situations upon practicing DI were all because you are no longer facing it on your own, but you are one with God who is dwelling in you and helping you overcome those adverse situations!

Lei’s reflection:
Practice makes perfect and in the exercise of Divine Indwelling, one must not analyze or think too much about what the outcome is going to be. It is a process and in that process the most important thing is that your soul & body becomes in sync with God’s Spirit that is in your heart. It is about total surrender, it’s allowing God to tame your reactions to the positive and negative circumstances in your life.

Terri’s reflection:

Through DI we no longer consider adverse situations as problems, rather ‘just having a situation’- especially in our everyday scenarios at work where we spend most of our day at!

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Mt 11:28-30)

What a blessing to be had!

Tess’ Reflections:
The Divine Indwelling is the ultimate simple act of faith that would benefit all souls. Your transformation is a miracle to me.

MAN’S CONSTANT SEARCH FOR MEANING

2. What is man looking for on earth?
Man searches for happiness, comfort, and pleasure from external values present in his environment.

Reflection:
I am looking for a happy, peaceful, productive, and sustainable life. These have been practically attainable since I’ve learnt to get in touch with God through Divine Indwelling. And the joy just multiplies whenever I share my life experiences in the walkthrough or cenacle sessions.

Rhona’s Reflection:
Bro. Ryan, Divine Indwelling is truly the greatest gift that our Triune God has given us from our Baptismal Day. It is not something that was explained to us clearly when we were growing up, but we are very fortunate today that we have been called to know about DI and take part in spreading this knowledge about DI to others. Your involvement in the LLLMS/ Family Cenacles community is not by accident but it is part of God’s great plan in calling each one of us to go back ‘home’ to Him who dwells within us in the deepest centre of our soul and to share this knowledge with others, starting with our loved ones.

Lei’s Reflection:
I am humbled Ryan because you are so open to sharing about your life experiences. You are a good example of how God shows how much He loves you. When I read your email that you wanted to start your writing on Lesson 6, I said Praise God, Finally!! I said to myself, Yes! Ryan has found his purpose in this mission. I pray that you will continue to inspire others and be inspired by the Triune God dwelling within you.

Terri’s reflection:
Ryan and everyone: Do you know the song The Search is Over by Survivor?

The Search Is Over
Survivor

…I was living for a dream,
Loving for a moment
Taking on the world,
That was just my style
Now I look into my heart <3 (changed the lyrics here)
I can see forever,
The search is over
You were with me all the while
Can we last forever, will we fall apart
At times it’s so confusing, these questions of the heart
you followed me through changes, and patiently you’d wait
till I came to my senses, through some miracle of fate
I was living for a dream,
Loving for a moment
Taking on the world,
That was just my style
Now I look into my heart <3
I can see forever,
The search is over
You were with me all the while

One day I heard this song and straightaway like lighting would strike it hit me – MY GOSH my search is over as GOD the GREAT TRIUNE GOD has been with me all this time… AMEN!!!

Tess’ Reflections:
I have just realised that men’s journey is a pattern. But as soon as the heart opens up, graces flow. I have seen and experienced it myself in my own life. I just pray that my loved ones will also realize and discover this gem. We don’t need to experience and wait for the hardships and difficulties to happen. If we can, let us experience God now in our journey… JUST DO IT

join us tomorrow for Part 2 of Divine Indwelling Set 2 and learn about:

  1. Why is man never satisfied with whatever he achieves and takes from the earth.
  2. What can truly fill up the soul of man and why?
  3. Unless a man will resolve to God within him, man will never find rest.

Now start commenting your reflections in the comments below! This is the process of team global walkthrough.

  1. It is a very awesome mission: to tell and share with everyone that God wants everyone to know that He loves each one in a special way and that He is IN THEM.
