Seeing God through practical experiences and nature

BY: BORJ PAMARAN

As followers of Jesus, through our cenacle family, I feel that we are moving in the right direction.  The virtues of faith, hope, and love are stepping stones on our journey toward the fullness of God’s grace.  Our human knowledge is limited to what we’ve understood, heard, or seen so far up to the present moment.  That is why we need to learn from God’s wisdom by heart, we can also use Mama Mary’s words through the blue book (The Marian Movement of Priests by Fr Gobbi) as our guide to understand God’s plan for these modern times.

I came across a story wherein a profitable bank practices the principle of 100/0.

100 is about doing their 100 percent best and even walking the extra mile. They might have limited resources but they still sought possible alternative solutions to serve their clients’ needs.  Hence, 0 refers to zero excuses.  It’s like doing it now or never.

We could apply the same principle to our own spiritual journey.  If we want to change something in our lives, we should act now by giving our 100% best and trusting God will do the rest.  No need to wait for tomorrow before we can start serving God because tomorrow might not come at all.  There should be ZERO excuses for delaying our spiritual maturity until we find some other convenient time later.

Personally, I nourish my spiritual journey by taking nature walks, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.  Merely looking at the unbelievable creation of our Almighty God truly refreshes my mind and my soul.  The wonders of nature remind me of God’s divine indwelling within my heart.  The beauty of nature gives me that peaceful ambiance and I cherish moments like these to talk to God in silence.  From this, I have also developed the hobby of taking pictures to capture the images of His awesome creation.  Sharing these pictures through social media is my humble way of proclaiming how Great God is.
